Job Overview
CTSS is seeking a Water Jet Operator (Machine Operator) for a temp-to-perm opportunity at a paint manufacturing plant in Gainesville, GA. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality.
In this position, you will operate and maintain water jet cutting equipment to ensure precise production while supporting overall manufacturing operations. Overtime is frequently available based on production demands, with strong potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate water jet cutting machines according to specifications• Set up, adjust, and monitor machine performance during operation• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals• Maintain a clean and organized work area• Adhere to all safety standards and PPE requirements• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
• Previous machine operation experience is a plus but not required• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or on a team• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety• Ability to read and understand English or Spanish• Work shoes required on first day• Must wear all required PPE at all times• CTSS uses E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility
